We're excited to announce a new Expedition Quest Writing Contest with a $250 grand prize!
To be eligible, publish a quest using the Expedition Quest Creator (https://quests.expeditiongame.com) before April 30th, 2024 (midnight EST), incorporating the theme of solarpunk.
What is solarpunk, you might ask?
It envisions a hopeful, sustainable future — one that interconnects nature, community and technology. It's a rebellion against capitalism and control, and towards individual and collective actions.
That's a very broad definition, with lots of room to explore and adventure! In fact, it doesn't even have to take place in the future — a solarpunk story can even explore historic periods of environmental adaption.
If you’re looking for solarpunk inspiration, our friend Alxd made a list of solarpunk writing prompts, as well as a solarpunk card set for Story Engine Deck. To use, simply download the CSV and import it via the “Load Deck” button.
